You’re cute, cocotte.
With the same exceptional features as the round oven, the oval-shaped La Cocotte is ideal for cooking fish, braising and browning meats (hello short ribs!) and preparing soups and stews. Take it from the oven straight to the table—it's beautiful as a serving dish. Staub cookware is unique in its design, with an enamel coating that makes it indestructible and highly chip resistant and also keeps it from discoloring. The cast iron cookware retains the heat, keeping the dish warm long after it's been taken out of the oven or off the stove. It cooks food evenly, making the end result more consistent in texture and taste. The special ceramic bottom also makes it possible for use on all types of heating surfaces.
Available in graphite and grenadine with a stainless steel knob, or graphite and matte black with a brass knob.
