The stands are finished with a mineral oil/beeswax based finish. Occasionally rubbing your base with mineral oil or olive oil will preserve it and give it a nice matte finish. The top can be cleaned with soap and water. Don't submerge the stand in water or put it in the dishwasher.

Beautiful and Functional!

I love the artful shape and the materials used to make this cake stand. The wood grain is appealing to me and feels smooth and warm to hold. The corian top complements the base by offering a sleek, flat surface that makes it easy to slice and lift a piece of cake. Everyone is delighted to have their dessert presented to them on this, and sometimes I put it on my sideboard just because it's pretty. I wish I had a top to cover the dessert while it lasts.
