For stunning dessert displays.
These Corian and walnut cake stands have a classic, streamlined design. The base is made from FSC certified hardwood with a durable white top plate and bottom for the base. Each stand is weighted to be used with as many layers as you can stack.

Meet the Maker
AHeirloom
Brooklyn, NY
Brooklyn based husband and wife, Amy Stringer-Mowat and Bill Mowat, made their first cutting boards for their wedding. It is rumored that the groom was actually finishing the boards on the day of the wedding! The two wanted a personalized and sentimental way to display cheese, and came up with state-shaped cutting boards for each of their home states (Michigan and Connecticut), with hearts on their hometowns. Delightfully, the enterprise has grown to include all manner of kitchen tools.

Beautiful and Functional!
I love the artful shape and the materials used to make this cake stand. The wood grain is appealing to me and feels smooth and warm to hold. The corian top complements the base by offering a sleek, flat surface that makes it easy to slice and lift a piece of cake. Everyone is delighted to have their dessert presented to them on this, and sometimes I put it on my sideboard just because it's pretty. I wish I had a top to cover the dessert while it lasts.
