Afternoon teas aren’t as popular in America as they used to be, way back when, but they should be. Be a trendsetter, and have a full out spread with your cuppa (we’re talking triple-decker platters of sandwiches and little sweets) instead of weekend brunch. Your centerpiece? The all-important sugar bowl. The dainty little knob at the top and gently curving arms will charm even the staunchest tea-denier into admitting that there’s something to be said for stopping by for a soothing steep.
