Cake delivered with icing in tact, factoring in that at times I travel by bus/taxi/train. This is a gem. So practical that I purchased the pie/cupcake version. When not deployed it double duty’s as storage for spices etc

I ordered two to help us carry four pies to Granny's. Traditionally, we hike two miles, most of which are stairs to get to her place. We believe the cakeboxes will make carrying the pies easier. They arrived without the leather straps, which caused great disappointment to my husband who proceeded to write email to Food52 to vent his disappointment. He shouldn't have used my iPad to find order number to do so! He took the time to check them out! He now loves them, as I do - with our without the carrying leather straps that Im sure will show up shortly on a separate delivery. Fantastic product!
