Keep Calm and Scoop On
We here at Food52 consider ice cream a work of art, so naturally we needed a scoop worthy of our masterpieces (of late, our test kitchen has been churning out a Thai coconut lemongrass flavor!). We instantly fell for this solid brass ice cream scoop, which feels weighty in hand and scoops the most frozen of ice creams with ease. And we won’t be hiding this beauty away when not in use--we’ll be displaying it proudly on our open shelves.

SO BEAUTIFUL
This scoop was certainly a splurge but I am SHOOK by how beautiful, well-made, heavy, and just plain awesome this is. It is seriously a piece of art. I am looking for ways to display it in the kitchen so it doesn't just sit in a drawer. It reminds me of old fashion ice cream parlor feel with new chic artisan flare. If you want to scoop ice cream with bougie golden eye-candy, this is the one.
Gorgeous and effective
My sister gave me one of these for Christmas last year so now I'm returning the favor. It's a lovely thing, and it does its job beautifully. Heavy, but not too heavy, and not too big for someone with small hands. It cuts through even ice cream with nuts and whatnot in it quite well and creates lovely, tidy scoops.
