Glam meets grit.

Designer Sarah Cihat lends a little light to a hand thrown ceramic plates and bowls by finishing the “decayed” edge of each in 22 karat gold. We think they have just the right amount of glimmer, and rough-hewn, unfinished edges keep them from feeling too precious. The handmade pieces are each unique in their organic, slightly irregular casting.

The glazed, shiny plate tops (and interior of the bowls) are easy to clean and the undersides (or exterior of the bowls) are velvety matte. The plates are available in a dinner or salad size and the bowls come in soup, cereal, and pasta bowl sizes.
