An iconic French knife with cult status.
Now that we know about this corkscrew folding knife, we never want to be without it. From the iconic French knife brand Opinel, this beechwood-handled beauty sheaths a sharp 4” stainless steel blade. Open packages with a swipe, up your outdoor preparedness, or use it as a paring knife on the fly. A stainless steel corkscrew is tucked alongside the handle, so pack it for all your travels (you never know when you’ll need to open a bottle of wine!)

Meet the Maker
Opinel
France
Joseph Opinel, a third-generation metalworker, designed his first pocket knife in 1890. Over 120 years later, its design is still considered one of the most important in history. In 1985, the Victoria and Albert Museum named the Opinel knife one of the 100 best designed objects in the world. Like a great family recipe, Opinel’s knives are the sort that get passed on and shared.
