Among the many beautiful details in our office, some of our favorites are the curvy, swoopy pendant lamps that hang above the marble island in our test kitchen. Amy Stringer-Mowat, one half of the husband-and-wife duo behind AHeirloom, feels the same way: After visiting the office for our inaugural Maker's Conference she was so taken with their graceful shape that she used them as inspiration for an exclusive-to-Food52 cake stand! Because every star (this banana cake, for instance) needs amazing supporting players (a stand in smooth, creamy corian and rich walnut or maple wood).
