Staub that stirs.
A silicone spoon and spatula from Staub gets the job done in the kitchen, with the added (beautiful) bonus of silky olivewood. The spoon has one side that is slightly bowled for scooping, while the spatula has two identical, straight sides. The flexible, heat-resistant silicone stirs, scrapes, and folds with ease, and the curved olivewood handle feels smooth and comfortable in your hand (and looks good, too!).

Staub
France
It's hard to look at the French company's picturesque cast iron and ceramic wares and not daydream about the *magnifique* things you'll make in them. Staub specializes in enameled cast iron cookware made in Alsace, which makes for superior browning and heat retention (perfect for those hours-long braises). The pieces work hard, but they’re pretty enough to go straight from stovetop/oven to the table. They take on a variety of shapes and colors, but we're partial to the cocottes with a deep blue hue and brass knobs exclusive to our Shop.

Warped after one wash
Not sure if they arrived slightly bowed and I didn’t really notice at first, but after the first wash the handle seemed to warp very much and now they are stuck that way. Should have dried them off as soon as they were rinsed so do not leave the handles wet!
Love the olive wood/silicone combo
These are really beautiful and functional. The shape of the handle feels really nice when you're cooking. My only complaint is that I wish the silicone was a little bit more rigid for scraping/scooping firmer dishes, but it's not a dealbreaker.
