Roll out.
This cylindrical rolling pin is a solid marble block with rounded edges—and the heftiest we’ve ever found. Marble chills down and stays chilly, so this is the perfect roller for that pesky pie dough—it staves off that dreaded moment when the dough gets too warm and the butter starts to melt (the enemy of flaky crust!).

works well
Really great for rolling out smaller flour tortillas, flatbreads, Mandarin pancakes, etc. Its weight makes it easy to use and I like that it does not absorb odors (like the sesame oil in the Mandarin pancakes). May have to buy the longer one(!).
