Palo santo and cedar ropes are both sold separately from the incense burner.

To burn palo santo, use a match or lighter to ignite your stick. Hold at a 45 degree angle pointed downward. Allow the stick to burn for about 30 seconds, and then blow out the flame. The palo santo will continue to smoke. Let it burn out placed on the brass base.

To burn cedar rope, hang from the brass holder, light from the bottom, and let burn out.

To use with standard incense sticks, remove brass arm and insert your own stick of incense into the divot. Divot holds ⅛” W incense sticks.
