Totes essential.
This big, easy tote is made from paper (yes, paper!) that’s been stretched and tanned to look and feel just like leather. Each bag is made in Italy, and the paper itself is made from a cultivated fiber, meaning the production of these bags isn’t contributing to deforestation. The bag is then treated with a natural wax for added strength and a smooth, matte finish. As you take your bag around, creases will begin to form in the paper, creating a soft, aged, well-loved look—but run a hot iron over the surface and the creases will magically disappear, returning the paper to its original state. A cotton lining, interior zipped phone pocket, and a zipper closure make this the ideal bag to bring to the beach or on a quick weekend getaway.
