No lumps here.
A food mill is a strainer meets a masher—it crushes food through a perforated disc while separating out the things you don't want (seeds, skins, and the like). The mill has four discs: super fine, fine, medium, and coarse, to tackle everything from straining tomatoes, to making apple sauce or a fancy french sauce, to mixing up jams. You'll get just the right consistency when you crank the long, comfy handle, while brackets keep the mill steady over your bowl. The (dishwasher safe!) stainless steel will last through many, many puree sessions and the scraper underneath ensures that all the good stuff ends up in the bowl with every turn of the handle.
