France
Chances are you may recognize the Duralex brand (they’re sold in over 90 countries around the world). Founded in 1929, they still produce their classic tumblers in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, in the heart of France. But while Duralex is known for iconic glass designs, they’re just as notable for their durability: In 1939, Duralex invented tempered glass—you know, the technique of extra high heat and fast cooling that makes glass twice as strong as the regular stuff (yeah, we didn’t know that either—neat, huh?).

We love this, it's a great range of sizes and we were surprised that we actually found a good use for each size!

I LOVE THESE GLASS BOWLS! Glass bowls are my passion. My stepmom had beautiful glass bowls with the blue corn flower trim and some were just plain very large crock bowls, others were plain different colors and different sizes. I’m 65 and she married my dad in 1960 so I appreciate now the well stocked kitchen she had back then. Now as a mother and grandmother my daughter loves to cook and bake and she’s always telling me, mommy you gotta get those bowls you just have to have them! There’s a perfect bowl for every size you may need!
