GreenPan Venice Pro Nonstick Everyday Pan

The nonstick element just didn't hold up. My pan lost the nonstick properties after two dozen uses. My pan has no scratches and I made sure to care for it with kid gloves...alas...I can't fry an egg on it without sticking.

This is a terrific pan. The nonstick surface works great so far, and I am very glad to not have the health concerns that come with Teflon and similar surfaces. (I also got the 8” and 10” pan set, and between the three pans most of my cooking needs are taken care of.) I love that it goes in the oven, and I love that it comes with a lid. I was considering giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because I cook with extra virgin olive oil and the accompanying pamphlet does not recommend it, especially at higher temperatures. I will switch to one of the recommended oils, such as refined olive oil or peanut. However the pan is so nice, I am still giving it 5 stars. After all, the whole point of this pan is to use less oil when cooking, but I am including that tidbit of info in case it would influence other consumers. Overall I am very happy with the pan and I recommend it highly.

I have had my Green Pan for about 3 weeks and don't think I will use anything else in my kitchen ever again. It cooks so evenly, cleans so easily and is just the right size. I cook small things in it, and big batches. I truly love it.
