Birthday present
I ordered this for my son-in-law who loves to barbecue!
It hasn’t been delivered to him yet, but will in the next couple of weeks. Actually, it hasn’t even been opened...still in the small flat box.
Thanks,
Rebecca
Thick, Quality Leather
I was so pleased when I got this apron out of the box earlier today. The leather is thick, hi-quality, and beautiful. The suspenders are also much preferred over a standard apron with its ties. Just slip it on and you’re ready. I can’t wait to add some patina to this beautiful leather. I’m hoping it becomes an heirloom.
Not what I expected
It is thick, stiff and heavy leather. I was expecting it to be a little softer, more pliant. But the most disappointing thing was the suspender straps. They are made of some petroleum-based fabric that has an intensely unpleasant smell. I hung it for 3 days outside to dissipate the odor. It reduced it, but it is still very unpleasant. If it remains after a few weeks, I will have to return it.
