Il Borgo del Balsamico Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP

This is a superb balsamic, and nicely priced for daily use. I use the red label as a finishing balsamic; a few drops does the trick.

Beautiful balsamico for every day use at an every day price. Stunning on arugula salads with parmesan shavings, and drizzled over roasted salmon fillet, burgers, and vegies. The flavor is nicely balanced; not too biting nor too sweet. I reach for this one all the time (and I’ve got some excellent DOP balsamico in my pantry).

I new I didn't want a sweet one (the most expensive), but neither did I want something I thought might be closer to the grocery store version. This middle offering is perfect! Even though it seems to be promoted mostly for use with meat and savory dishes, I think it could also be added to lemony salad dressings.
