To be or pot to be?
Did you know the French word “confit” means “to preserve”? (We didn’t). Turns out these good looking clay champs were once used in France to store cooked meats. See the unglazed underside? That helped keep everything cool pre-refrigerator. Now, thank goodness, we have all sorts of modern conveniences and these pots are purely decorative genius. Tuck them in a corner, or fill with branches or pinecones for a little rustic-meets-French charm.
