Heavyweight Ergonomic Stainless Steel Corkscrew

I've been looking for a new 'waiter's key', something more substantial than the inexpensive one I've been using for years. I was excited when this one came up on Food52. It's nice and heavy and fits well in my hand. Unfortunately it won't pull the corkscrew out because the leverage point slides right off the bottle lip. I tried and tried and eventually had to unscrew it from the cork and go back to my old one to get the cork out. Same result when I tried with another bottle of wine. This has turned out to be a rather expensive piece of junk given my $6 purchase from a big box store 15 years ago continues to work even if it is uncomfortable to hold.
