SpinCycle Salad Spinner & Colander

Without equal, this is the worst performing kitchen tool I have ever purchased. For starters, somehow the large barely holds enough lettuce to make a salad for one. The design of this spinner is so poor, the lid doesn’t fit well and there is no way to use it without the parts popping out of place. The gears are so poor that I’m afraid It wont last more than a few uses. On top of all that it doesn’t even dry the greens, paper towels are required! Seems I’m not the only one with regrets, I only wish I had seen these before I pulled the trigger. Everything else purchased from F52 has been top notch, this is truly disappointing.

This all-ion-one colander/spinner works as described but the inner bowl is a little wobbly on the point. I find I have to manage the positioning to avoid inneffective spinning. Once it is spinning properly with any impediments, it works super.

I've had an OXO salad spinner for about 7 years. It's been a workhouse. The lid finally started to fall apart, and though I could make it work, I thought it might be time to try something different. I ordered the large size of the Chef'n salad spinner and it barely holds a decent head of lettuce. My OXO could hold 2. The lid doesn't fit well and when you press down on the paddle to spin the device, it makes a racket. Since the pieces don't fit well together, every third or fourth push of the paddle feels as if it's simply slipping, it's not connecting to the mechanism. I'm sure that contributes to the noise. Worst part is it DOESN'T DO IT'S JOB. Lettuce and herbs came out wet after multiple spins. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
