More to loaf.
Here’s something to write home to your breadbox about: A serrated knife designed to slice even, intact slices every single time. The specially curved blade is made from anti-corrosive stainless steel, so it’ll stay shiny for years to come and the beechwood handle is easy to grip (and pretty to look at, too). We suggest you take it for a trial run on this gloriously golden and ridiculously simple sourdough.

Opinel
France
Joseph Opinel, a third-generation metalworker, designed his first pocket knife in 1890. Over 120 years later, its design is still considered one of the most important in history. In 1985, the Victoria and Albert Museum named the Opinel knife one of the 100 best designed objects in the world. Like a great family recipe, Opinel’s knives are the sort that get passed on and shared.

Great knife needs a custom sheath
This is a very good bread knife. It is very sharp. However it lacks a sheath and its curvature is great enough that it will not fit in a standard knife block or a generic sheath. I have an in drawer knife block with slots that are open on the top and Can accommodate some non-standard knives; unfortunately, both the blade and the handle of this knife extended higher than the top of the drawer. For now I am storing it in the packaging, which is not ideal.
This knife is a beauty!
I have been baking artisan breads and this knife slices the loaves with no effort. I highly recommend it!
Sharpest knife ever - I love it
I didn't know how dull my old bread knife was until I got this baby. Cuts like buttah!!
Great price. Super happy.
