Vintage French Transferware Serving Dish

I love this dish. Perfect for candy or to display. Blue is a weakness of mine so anything that is blue and pretty I have to have.

The dishes shown in the picture are pristine and beautiful and (foolish me) that is what I expected. I ordered one dish at 2 different times. The first one I received was of a rose pattern; it had chips on the front plus several cracks on the back that went through to the front. And actually it looked as if another buyer opened the bubble wrapping, looked at the dish, put it back in the bubble wrap and sent it back to you (the bubble wrap wasn't even sealed when I received mine). The other dish had a lovely decoration around the rim and it too had chips (no cracks) on the front. While I understand these were described as "vintage" I am disappointed in the difference between what was depicted vs. the condition of the dishes I received. I read in the description that these were final sales and not returnable, so I will keep both for my vanity, though this is not the purpose I had intended.

The one piece i received was ok for visuals. I personally would have never bought it if I had seen it in an actual store and would never have spent that much on one piece. The item in the photo are much cutier. That's my fault for misinterpreting the photo and description. I thought the price was for 3 items not one. I would say the piece is of good quality.
