Festive and fragrant.
Things are about to get a lot more festive (and flavorful!) thanks to this hand-assembled blend of mulling spices. It brings together a whole slew of ingredients to create a rich infusion—including cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and allspice, plus orange peel, rose petals, cloves, and black pepper. It simmers splendidly with your favorite cider, wine, spirits, and syrups, of course, but here’s another tip: Use it to poach fresh or dried fruits you’ll be adding to fruit cake, bread pudding, or your next cheese board.
Brewing Instructions: Gently simmer 1–2 tablespoons mulling spices per 8 ounces of your favorite cider, wine, spirits or syrup until fragrant, about 20 minutes.
