Cody Foster
Valentine, Nebraska
Fun fact: Cody Foster learned how to make crafts from his no-nonsense, Midwestern grandmother, Ida Foster, and started his business making folk art when he was just 16. Today, his brand is still a family-run business located in the picturesque town of Valentine, Nebraska—and it creates holiday ornaments and home décor, often inspired by offbeat vintage finds.

Looks more gold than silver
I was excited to get this tree topper, thinking it would be a simple silver star. While it's obviously handmade and rustic looking, the color of the star isn't as silver as I had hoped. It's more gold toned than silver. Not sure how well it will stay on top of the tree yet, but I'm hopeful.
