A spoonful of sugar...
We’re sweet on this lil’ pot, and for lots of reasons. First things first, it was hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel in a studio in San Diego, so it’s a work of art all on its own. Oh, and see that speckled white finish? Here’s how it got there: After the lid and base were formed, they were hand-trimmed, then glazed and high fired in a gas kiln to creamy perfection. The pot just so happens to have a nook for a tiny spoon, too—just pick your favorite and pop it in so you’re always ready to sweeten things up.
Don’t let that cute-as-can-be shape fool you, either. This gem can hold up to two cups of sugar, so it’s ready for your morning coffee, weekend brunch, you name it. And when it needs a little TLC? You bet it’s dishwasher-friendly. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got a pot of tea to steep.
