Our countertop’s getting an eco-friendly revamp, thanks to this lil’ compost bin. It’s sized just right for keeping within arm’s reach, with a large opening that’s ready to take on your potato peels, onion bits, coffee grounds, you name it. When you wanna get composting, just drop in your scraps (we’ve got a handy guide with a few tips), no plastic bag needed. And when it’s full? It’s a snap to pick up and empty—and it can even zip through the dishwasher between uses. Oh, and we haven’t even gotten to those modern colors...

Here’s another little hint: Ever heard of the handy “garbage bowl” trick, where you keep a bowl nearby for all your food scraps as you go about your prep work? (Yeah, we also wish we’d heard it sooner.) This number’s just the ticket for that, too.
