Care for a little cream?

Wait till you hear the story behind this rare collection: It goes back to 1847, when Stanislas Renault first opened his workshop in Argent-sur-Sauldre, France. One move and 173 years later, the Poterie Renault business had stayed in the family for five generations, continuing to handcraft iconic stoneware from French clay (and even fire it all in the original kiln). Sadly, they’re closing their doors—but not before we were able to snap up a treasure trove of vintage pieces. We brought them here just for you, and they’re available exclusively at our Shop.

You may not sip your coffee in a café every morning, but you’ll certainly feel like it when you’ve got this vintage creamer at the table. It gets its classic French country shape from—where else?—the French countryside, and its special shine from a classic combination of grey clay and salt glazing. (Bonus: That stoneware will keep your cream colder for longer.) The raised detail on the handle gives you an extra-easy pour, while the cute-as-can-be size is picture-perfect for topping off one or two cups. Just add a warm croissant, and you’ll be golden.
