It takes two.
When jute and cotton come together to make a placemat, it’s a beautiful thing. Each table-topper you see here gets its two-tone charm from two different shades of thread. And the thick, braid-like weave? We can’t stop staring. Take your pick from two classic shapes, then let ‘em lend natural flair to every table they meet.

Wonderful service from Food 52
I ordered 8 of these placemats. 7 looked perfect, 1 looked used! I sent a picture and note to Food 52 and they couldn’t have been nicer or more prompt to deal with! Was replaced promptly and I will definitely be recommending Food 52 again! Love the look of my mats!
offensive odor
I tried using baking soda; I tried white vinegar; I tried airing in the sun for several days. Nothing worked to bring down the jute odor in the mats. These are not suitable for indoor use and not great out doors either. I'm so disappointed. They are very attractive but not usable.
