Beauts in blue.
Wanna hear where these kitchen towels get their fanciful patterns? It’s all thanks to a centuries-old Japanese technique called shibori, where fabric is twisted, folded, and tied together, then dyed twice to create a one-of-a-kind design. Now, about their blue hue: It comes from indigo (that’s the stuff that gives your favorite jeans their classic color). To top it all off, they’re fashioned from cotton, which happens to be very washable.
Take your pick from three gorgeous prints: tidal, deep indigo, and pier—subtle nods to the Hudson River in New York, where all this magic is made.
