Is it just us, or does this compote look like it was pulled right out of a painting? It’s a work of art in its own right, since it was handmade by Fort Worth–based ceramicist Kendall Davis. (That texture you see is unglazed earthen clay.) This footed bowl will shine on its own anywhere you set it, of course. As for us...we’ll be letting it show off all our fruit in the kitchen.
