A show of hands.
Wondering where these dishes get their handy shapes? They’re actually inspired by a happy accident, when ceramicist Connor McGinn grabbed a still-wet bowl from the potter’s wheel. Each gem is completely handmade with a gently folded lip, perfect for resting flatware, passing around the table, or waltzing your meal here and there. What’s more? Everything you see is crafted from dishwasher- and microwave-safe porcelain, so cleanup and reheating are a snap.

Connor McGinn Studios
Tarrytown, NY
Masterful in creating serveware that makes every meal a celebration, it’s no surprise that Tarrytown, New York–based ceramicist Connor McGinn used to be a chef. Every platter, bowl, and plate that comes from his studio has been handthrown with both the food and cook in mind. Though he used to design dishes exclusively for restaurants, now you can snag his creations for your own meal-making (and oh, are we glad).

Perfect!
It was a Christmas present for my mother, and she LOVED it! She used it right away. She's disabled and has difficulty using her hand's; she said that having this make's it much easier to grab without spilling food. She especially loved that she won't have to use two different dishes (plate and bowls) for her meals anymore just because a side dish is more difficult to maneuver on a plate without issue. Great product, we love the handmade nature of it and it's obviously a very high quality product.
