The works.
We were already taken with Opinel’s classic folding knife—it dates back to 1890 and has graced more than a few museums, after all. So you can imagine how delighted we were to meet this very gift-worthy box. It’s packing 10 French-made pocket knives, from the smallest no. 2 all the way up to the no. 12 (Opinel no longer makes their no. 11). And, true to tradition, each one has an ultra-sharp stainless-steel blade along with a smooth beechwood handle. We’re stashing ours here, there, and everywhere else they’ll be within reach...just so we’re ready for all the slicing, peeling, foraging, and box-opening that comes our way.
