A real dynamo.
This isn’t your average toaster oven, and for so many reasons. Sure, it can brown bread, bake, and broil like there’s no tomorrow, but it also doubles as an air fryer. (Yep, it can crisp up meat and veg with extra-hot air and little to no oil.) But we’re just getting started…
- Pick a function, any function: There are seven total—toast, air-fry, warm, bake, convection bake, broil, and convection broil.
- Versatile as all get-out: With all those functions and a thermostat that takes you from warm to 450°F, it’ll whip up fries, popcorn shrimp, your morning bagel...the works.
- Say so long to oil: Since the air-fry mode uses piping-hot air to create a crunch, you can go easy on the canola.
- Fully clad: It’s coming with an oven rack, baking pan, and an air-fryer basket, plus a recipe book to get you started.
- Whisper-quiet: It keeps a low profile as it works its magic.
- Cut out for the countertop: This one’s so eye-catching, you can leave it out full-time.

Cuisinart
Stamford, Connecticut
Bet you haven’t heard this story: After Cuisinart founder Carl Sontheimer discovered the commercial food processor at a French trade show in the early 1960s, he went right to work on creating a version just for home cooks. Fast forward to 1973, and America’s first-ever home-friendly food processor was born. It quickly gained favor among the likes of James Beard, Jacques Pépin, and Julia Child—yep, *that* Julia Child. And now? Cuisinart’s still making a whole lineup of time-savers we thank our lucky stars for.

disappointing
The unit itself works fine, a little large for the counter.I used it for first time, with baking pan installed.....stains from heating rolls would not come off..tried everything...soaking in hot water/Dawn first, nothing took stains out. Since it sits out I think cleanliness is important. Had them send me a new baking pan to put in when not in use. Then, I made a small pizza, stains on crumb tray won't come out. Poor engineering of surface for a product like this . no reason to use a surface that can't be cleaned...would not recommend product.
Monster of a "toaster oven"
Reading the instruction booklet and the included recipes, preparing food with this was intriguing. However, it is HUGE. Food52, you really need to tell people that if they planned to put it under hanging (wall) kitchen cabinets, they should reconsider buying it. It barely fitted under my cabinets and when I read the instructions, I learned that it can start fires if it is too close to them, which it definitely was. So I am returning it. I takes up way too much room on the countertop and I was concerned abut the fire hazard. Good luck to others who want to try it out.
Just Okay
I have heard people rave about air dryers and I was excited to purchase this dual toaster/air fryer. It’s design is beautiful and it’s fairly easy to use, but so far nothing I have made in it works well. I find the included recipe book’s timing recommendations are off. Things take longer than expected. They stay soggy or undercooked when I follow the recipes. But when I extend the time, they dry out and burn. And nothing is very flavorful. It’s not what I expected of an air fryer. So far it has been disappointing.
