Pigeon Toe
Portland, OR
We admire Pigeon Toe's simple aspiration: to provide mankind with everyday beauty. Founded in 2009 in North Portland by Lisa Jones—a once-reluctant ceramicist who finally gave into her true calling. Her artisan designs transcend trends and are made specifically to be treasured. The result? Heirlooms that are hardly old-fashioned.

Classic silhouette and very practical
I love this spoon rest so much! Its shape and design are so classic and effortless, and it's super easy to clean. I broke the first one I owned a few years ago and tried replacing it with something else, only to realize this is my gold standard and no other spoon rest will do for me. I gave the replacement away to a thrift store and bought another one from Food52—I can't live without it!
Useful and attractive
Small, useful and attractive, large enough to hold large spoons. Looks nice on my kitchen counter.
Perfectly sized
I don't like tons of things on my counters. This little spoon rest is perfect. Fits nicely in a drawer tucked away but does a nice job when needed.
