Hand wash before first use. Hand-washing is recommended. Cleaning in the dishwasher will cause cosmetic discoloration (this will not affect the integrity of the pan). Silicone, wood, or nylon utensils are preferred. Reacts with acidic ingredients like vinegar and tomato. Repeated exposure to acidic foods will shorten the life of your pan.
