Give it a swirl.
This year, we teamed up with 52 of our favorite ceramicists—yep, 52—to bring you an extra-special collection: a whole medley of artisan-crafted mugs, each one as unique as its maker. They’re only in for a limited time (and, you guessed it, you’ll only find ‘em here).
Wondering where this mug gets its earthy swirls? Well, fun fact: It’s inspired by a centuries-old Japanese technique called nerikomi. Many, many pieces of colored clay have been pressed together here to create that marbled pattern. The outside’s been left raw to show off its natural texture, while the inside has a lovely terra-cotta glaze. (Needless to say, no two are exactly alike.)
