Food52 x Staub Sesame Cookware Collection

Love Staub pans. Love the sesame color. Looking forward to years and years and years of making brown rice in this beauty.

This frypan is very small, but it’s not so tiny that it’s not useful. I find this product perfect for when I’m just making a scramble for one in the morning or a skillet cookie for two during dessert. It has also worked well when I’m reheating leftovers for myself. If you’re often cooking for a crowd this pan might not be for you but if you’re making a lot of personal foods and meals it’s perfect.

I purchased 2 Staub 4 quart cast iron beauties for two special people in my life. The Sesame version goes to my sister who oohed and aahed over it when I showed her the photo online. She’s in the middle of a kitchen remodel and will keep this prize on the stove to accent her new designer oven. The second version is the manly-man black which I actually plan to give to my daughter for her retro beach bungalow with black and white appliances to match. I’m sure the surfer dude BF will appreciate. But if either turn up their noses, it’s coming back to mama! Both recipients are a two person family so the 4 quart is just enough to manage without going over the top.
