All those flecks your pepper mill leaves behind? This coaster has ‘em handled. It’s tailor-made to give your spice grinders the home they deserve. And in two finishes—take your pick from walnut wood or black marble—this is one you’ll want to leave out on the table. It’s coming in two sizes, one for two mills and one for three. (We’re snagging the latter and popping a lil’ candle in that third slot.)

Meet the Maker
CrushGrind
Sturtevant, WI
Ken Muff Lassen alighted on a ceramic mill in the mid 1980s and knew he had a “little” idea that would make a big impact. Ceramic, an unusual choice of material at the time, made not only a superior grinding mechanism for pepper, but flawlessly milled salt and spices as well. Today, the CrushGrind mechanism is used in over 50 million mills all over the world.

Disappointing color
It’s all right but just solid black marble, no veining, etc. I thought it would be beautiful but the one in the picture is much prettier.
