For a cheesy celebration.
You could have a regular ol’ layer cake at your next celebration, or you can let this triple-tiered tower take center stage. It’s three wheels of soft-ripened goat cheese, all from Cypress Grove of northern California. (They have a happy herd of goats and a creamery on site, so you can bet the taste is top-notch.) The top and bottom layers are Humboldt Fog, known for its creamy, floral flavor. The middle is Truffle Tremor, with notes of herb and mushroom. You’re looking at 9 pounds of goodness here, which measures up at about 8 inches tall when stacked—yep, there’s plenty to go around.
